Campanile Rouen Sud - Cléon Elbeuf

One-minute walk to La Traverse for a concert there. Basic but comfortable room. Good sized double bed. Secure and free car parking. Friendly staff. Free warm drink on arriving early was much appreciated!

We booked 2 rooms, asked for them to be close to each other, and got adjacent rooms. The set-up is ideal for us with our dog as we can go directly outside from the rooms. Quiet streets and an enclosed garden allow us to take our dog out safely at the end of a long day's driving. The rooms are simple but meet our needs perfectly, clean, good showers, coffee-making facilities etc. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was good basic cooking, and very good buffet breakfast. The area is a mix of residential and light industrial, so not pretty, but easily reached from main through routes which is perfect for stop-overs.

A topical Campanile hotel. Clean rooms, secure free parking, good breakfast. Great one or two nights when you are travelling. This one is only 30 min from Monet house and the water lilies garden.
